Never Fail Doughnuts |

2 pkg. (2 T.) yeast |
| 1/2 C. warm water |
| 1 C. scalded milk |
| 1 tsp. vinegar |
| 1/2 C. sugar |
| 1 tsp. salt |
| 1/2 C. corn margarine |
| 1 egg + 4 egg yolks, beaten |
| Flour |

Dissolve yeast in warm water. |
|
Add vinegar, sugar, salt and margarine to scalded milk. |
|
When lukewarm add yeast, egg and egg yolks. Add flour to make a soft dough. Let rise. |
|
Roll out 3/8 " thick. Fry in oil at 375 - 400 for 2 minutes on each side. |
|
Glaze while hot. Yield 3 dozen. |
