Raisin Bread

 
 

1/2 C. lard

1/2 C. sugar
1 T. cinnamon
1 T. salt
2 eggs, beaten
 2 T. yeast in 1 C. warm water
1/2 C. warm milk
15 oz. raisins
7 - 8  C. flour
 

Cover raisins with water and simmer until soft.  Mix all together.

Let rise 30 minutes.  Knead well.  Let it rise again until double in size.

Put in bread pan and bake at 350.

Makes 4 loaves.
