Tips on creating Puppy Names
-Consider puppy names that the pet can easily recognize.
- Puppies respond better to one or two syllable names.
- Consider puppy names that are easy to call out.
- A pets behavior is a great source of inspiration for puppy names. Study your dogs behavior and a puppy names will come.
- Avoid dog names that sound like standard instructions e.g. Sit, Stay, Fetch … etc. As it can be difficult for dogs to tell the difference between similar sounding words.
- Consider dog names that Your puppy can grow into. "Pup" and "Baby" may not be ideal for a mature dog.
